Ladder of Success: Leaning Against the Wrong Wall?

A lot of people climb the Corporate Ladder and think that success is found on top but they find out that it is not the answer to having a better life.

First, you are alone on top. Second, yes you have salary increase but your company will demand more of you, your time and effort. Third, you will not have the luxury of time to pursue what you want and try better things or options available.

 

So if right now you are aiming for a promotion just take a look at your boss or the oldest employee in your company. Do they have the life that you really want for yourself? You should be aware of this because surely you will end up just like them if you will not look and try for other options.

 

I suggest that you keep your job (active income) while on the other hand educate yourself to know about business and find a (part time) business that can give you passive income. In that way you are sure that life will be better. Now you can say that you don’t only work hard but you are working smart.

The Two Choices We Face

I made a decision to be an Entrepreneur when I left my 5 year career as a Call Center Agent. I resigned because I want a more productive life. I want to learn more, earn more and become more.

 

I really want to focus on the expansion of my business and on my growth as a Business Leader. CA2020 will lead me to achieve money and time freedom. With this I face a choice everyday to do all that I can, to give my best to finish the task and produce the results that I want in my business.

 

As much as possible I want my time spent wisely. I have no time to gossip or to watch television anymore or spend my time with people who only want fun and spend their money. I have lot of things to accomplish that I don't want to sleep anymore. I am so excited to wake up everyday to get a step closer to my goal.

The Best Things in Life are NOT Free

The best things in life are my dreams. I want Financial Freedom and Success so I can live the lifestyle that I desire, to be able to help my family and help a lot of people in need through God’s blessings in my life. But when I start to make it happen I realized that there is always a price to pay before I reach my dreams.

Last 2008, after my 5 year career as a Call Center agent with a lot of financial responsibilities and making ends meet I decided to learn about business expansion thinking that I can expand our family business to increase my source of income. I then attended several training, seminars, expos and bought books to learn about money management, business and investing and it all cost me money.

But being in the Core Team I realized that the price I need to pay is not just money but the journey that I have to go through for me to reap the results that I want in my life. I think part of the journey is the time and effort that I invested in CA2020’s Life Entrepreneurship Program to learn about Business and Leadership. But aside from the knowledge and mentoring, it is the process of reconditioning, change, self transformation and discipline that made sense to me that I believe will help me to become the right person to achieve my dreams.

I learned that it is not just the money that is important but the person who will do and run the business if he is ready (Physically, mentally, psychologically, and emotionally) or not. It is the journey and growth that everyone should focus on before going into business.

Say YES to Opportunity

“You don't have to love opportunity, you just have to learn to appreciate opportunity and appreciate the person who brought you the good news; that found you.” – Jim Rohn

I usually ask every guest in Wealth Course and Cashflow Game of how they came to know CA2020 or how they were invited to our events. I found it interesting to know different stories of how they said Yes to a BIG opportunity to learn more and be more.

A lot of them had negative assumptions and hesitations in attending the course. Some said they were skeptical and just curious of what CA2020 is. I then expressed how lucky they are for saying yes to an invitation such as this considering that not all people are business minded. I told them that they don’t have to love the opportunity given instead they need to look forward what’s behind the opportunity. They will never know what’s in store for them until they say Yes and experience it.

I believe that saying Yes to an Opportunity:

1. Can definitely lead to an open door or enlightenment. It can be the missing link that you’ve been looking for. It can be a realization or a discovery of

oneself to growth or success.

2. Also saying Yes may mean a lot like granting a favor. You get to help a person or a friend to finish a requirement or a task given to them. You become a solution to their problem.

3. And at the same time you’re doing yourself a favor. You give yourself a chance to see a different world aside from the world of employment. You expose yourself to what is really essential. You discover ways

on how to achieve what really matters to you.

I believe that endless benefits await a person who doesn’t just grab opportunities but to those who went out of their comfort zone and took action. This also goes to people who didn’t just try but DID it and finished what they’ve started.

To our online members and coaches of this growing International Network, I request that you go back to the person who introduced you to CA2020 and say a BIG Thank You. What Influence You?

I always share to people the two things that they need to change in their lives to become successful: 1) Books that they read 2) People around them.

Way back in college I used to read romantic pocketbooks because I am always in love and in search of love however when I became employed and felt all the stress that comes with it I told myself, “I want change in my life” I know what I want and I want MORE.

I seek for more knowledge so I can do the things that will lead me to my Financial Success. The first thing that entered my mind was to expand our mini RTW (Ready To Wear) Business. But I’ve got to know how?

I then shifted myself from reading romantic pocketbooks to business and investing books. I started reading books of Bo Sanchez (Spiritual and Financial Success), Colayco (Mutual Funds), Larry Gamboa (Real Estate) and Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad. It was eye opening to me. I also attended seminars about Internet Marketing (I want to advertise our business online) and Business Expos to learn about small and big businesses. But still there’s something missing.

Until I enrolled to the Life Entrepreneurship Program of CA2020 where I got to meet great mentors, coaches and members of the Core Team then I realized that I need people around me who are successful, driven and also have the same desire to succeed and who want to become financially

free.

Books and people influence our thoughts and actions but it depends on what kind of books you read or people you’re always with. Make sure it can give you something good. Always think of the benefits you can get because it will take you in the direction you need to go.

Talking about influences, let me share to you set of questions that you can answer to determine your current life. Then ask yourself if it is leading you to the life that you really desire?

Who am I around? Since I want to become an Entrepreneur I resigned from my job and surrounded myself with Entrepreneurs. Same thing if you are around people who don't read, chances are excellent that you won't read. So choose your friends. That’s why I’m always with my mentor, business partners and the Core Team members. Success breeds success!

What are these associations doing to me? Core Team energy is contagious. They empower and inspire me a lot. Remember to always go where the energy is!

What do they have me thinking? How have they got me talking? How have they got me feeling? What have they got me saying? I think I’m already a Millionaire. Becoming part of the Core Team is having an instant network of Millionaires. I always feel good when I’m around them. I’m so optimistic in our journey to success. Our language: Success and Abundance.

Is that okay? Financial Education, Big Global Business/Investments, Mastermind Team and Mentoring? That’s more than okay!
